Nana's Green House

Nana's Green House is a Green lifestyle Small Family Licensed Daycare Home located near Golden Gate park & Mountain Lake park.

Play-based: This is an enriched play-based learning environment. Read more about play based learning on the About Us page.
Family Day Care: I have chosen small family daycare to create a homey setting for my family and yours. Small group activities, family style meals, individual attention, calm surroundings, comfort and security for your child are benefits of the small family setting.
Science & Nature: I have a wonderful private backyard with a garden. Nature learning and physical activity is incorporated into our daily schedule.
Education & Language: As a former child educator and K-6 librarian I am especially skilled in language development and developing thinking skills. I foster creative opportunities, love of books, enthusiasm and a sense of adventure to encourage a lifetime of learning.
Healthy & Green: This is a green lifestyle house, and I serve primarily organic food. Non-toxic cleaning and kitchenware.
Happy Kids & Adults: I am skilled in the use of natural and logical consequences to teach children responsibility. Response-ability is the basis of self-esteem and belonging for happy children who become both happy and successful adults.
The development of every child's full potential is one of my goals, and a core value in my family daycare.

HOURS: Monday - Friday 8 am - 6 pm. Currently I am only accepting part time, but this can be full days on all days except Thursday. Part time is preferred, and morning half days are now available also.
